LP4Q, recognizing the pressing need, has taken a significant step by organizing a pivotal humanitarian work symposium focusing on supporting Gaza Strip.
On Saturday, the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds hosted a globally significant symposium. Participants came from diverse relief/humanitarian institutions and agencies, all united in their support for humanitarian work in Gaza Strip.
The symposium discussed the most critical priority humanitarian projects undertaken by associations specialized in this field and aimed to create a networking platform to support humanitarian work in Palestine, especially in Gaza Strip.
Representatives from the Arab International Organisation for Reconstruction in Palestine, the International Committee for Breaking the Siege of Gaza, the Union of Gaza Strip Municipalities, and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) participated in the symposium, which included the signing of memorandums of understanding between LP4Q and representatives of the institutions.
The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds launched its activities of the fifth international parliamentary conference,' Freedom and Independence for Palestine,' on Friday in Istanbul, under the auspices of the Turkish Parliament.
The three-day conference was attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Prof. Numan Kurtulmuş, over 700 parliamentarians from 80 countries, and official, international, and Turkish figures.
The conference seeks to resume LP4Q's achievements since its founding in light of the current strategic international environment calling to end the aggression and genocidal war waged by the Israeli Occupation against the Palestinian people by enhancing LP4Q's strength, status, and role in the international scene, as well as synergizing ideas, projects, and efforts of the world's parliaments in serving the Palestinian cause.
