The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds warns of the danger of international silence on settler crimes in the occupied West Bank

The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds condemns in the strongest terms the crimes and attacks of settlers in the occupied West Bank against Palestinians and their homes, property and land, which are carried out under the protection, support and encouragement of the extremist Israeli occupation government.

The league emphasizes that the world is required to take real steps and work to dismantle settlements in the West Bank and establish a future Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, as stipulated by UN resolutions and international agreements.

The league stresses that the international reactions to the settlers ' attacks do not rise to the level of crimes, and encourages the occupation government to accelerate the illegal colonial settlement presence, which falls within the framework of the annexation of the West Bank, sinking it into a settlement scheme and turning the Palestinian areas into isolated and scattered islands unrelated and uncontinuous geographically, to eliminate any opportunity to implement the principle of the two-state solution and the resolutions of international legitimacy and the establishment of the Palestinian state.

The league explains that these ongoing attacks and crimes against the Palestinian people since the Nakba and the occupation of the Palestinian territories in 1967, which have moved to a new level of violence in light of the world's inaction, will lead to pushing the conflict to more violence in the region and threaten to ignite a new regional war.

Instead of bringing the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice, the Israeli occupation forces in Hebron pursued a policy of prosecution of the victims. After the massacre, Israeli forces seized several... Read more
