LP4Q calls on the international community to end the suffering of the Palestinian people

Press release

In memory of the Nakba.. The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds calls on the international community to end the suffering of the Palestinian people

The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds affirms that the 75th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba brings to mind the largest ethnic cleansing committed against the Palestinian people, which caused a mass exodus of Palestinians and the longest worsening refugee crisis in the world.

The league stresses that the Palestinian Nakba continues to this day through the continuation of the Jewish and settlement occupation policies, the theft of land and the practice of violence against the Palestinian people, who are waiting for justice from the world.

The league calls on the international community on this anniversary to shoulder its responsibilities to stop this ongoing suffering, implement the United Nations resolutions related to the Palestinian people, foremost of which is their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state, Resolution 181 and Resolution 194, which guarantees the right of return and compensation, and to prosecute the occupation for its crimes, including the crime of apartheid, which has been confirmed by many international human rights organizations.
