The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds appreciates the decisions of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union rejecting the plans of the occupation in the occupied city of Jerusalem, and the attempts to change the legal and historical status of the occupied city, and the imposition of temporal and spatial division in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was taken by the Union at the conclusion of the work of its 32nd conference held in Cairo, on 18 February 2022.

The League affirms that these are the real and required positions of Arab parliaments and free parliaments around the world. The League also expresses its confidence that the Parliamentary Union’s decisions will contribute to pushing the rest of the Arab, European and international parliaments to condemn the occupation’s attacks and move to stop the forced displacement in occupied Jerusalem, and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
