LP4Q CONDEMNS KOSOVO'S PLAN TO MOVE ITS EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM

League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds (LP4Q) condemns the declaration of the Republic of Kosovo to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli occupation and to transfer its embassy to the city of Jerusalem.

LP4Q affirms that this step contradicts international law, specifically Security Council resolutions 476, 478 and 2334, which stipulates that East Jerusalem is an occupied territory, countries are required to abide by the relevant provisions of international law.

LP4Q stresses that any decisions or measures aimed at changing the status of the city of Jerusalem are illegal and must be stopped and addressed. We call upon Pristina to reverse its decision to move and abide by the prescripts of international law.
