Yesterday, Wednesday, US President Joe Biden's administration has explored with Saudi Arabia the possibility of normalizing relations with Israel and joining the Ibrahim Accords.

Walla reported on 3 American and Arab sources informed that US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan raised the issue at a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on 27 September during his visit to the kingdom.
Bin Salman did not explicitly reject the possibility of normalization with Israel during his conversation with Sullivan, but stressed that such a move would take time.

The Saudis have required normalization with Israel to implement several steps as soon as possible, some of which relate to improving relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia. The White House refrained from commenting, for the Hebrew site.

Walla considered Saudi Arabia's accession to the Ibrahim Accords to be a very important step that could lead more Arab and Islamic countries to take a similar step.

Last September, Israel signed normalization agreements in Washington with both Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. The Sudan subsequently agreed to sign a similar agreement, before Morocco announced the resumption of diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv that it had concluded during the second Palestinian intifada in 2000.
