The Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Knesset from the right-wing “Yahdut” party recognized the existence of Palestinians before the Jews in Palestine, in the first statement of its kind issued by a right-wing leader.

The seventh Hebrew channel quoted Jaffni as saying: “The important thing is that Israel be a Jewish state, and otherwise we have no right to conduct negotiations with the Palestinians because they were before us here, and we expelled them from here.”
