Argentine parliament vote on a resolution on the prisoners’ strike

   The Legislative Council of the Argentine capital Buenos Aires voted unanimously on a draft resolution by the President of the Commission on Human Rights, MP Jose Campaial, on the strike of Palestinian prisoners, which includes:
   The Legislative Council of the capital Buenos Aires expresses its concern at systematic and widespread violations of “freedom and dignity” and in protest against their denial of the most basic rights guaranteed under international law.
   The campaign of solidarity with the prisoners “Water and Salt” was joined by: President of the Commission on Human Rights in the National Parliament, Victoria Dunda, and Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the Legislative Council of Buenos Aires, Jose Campanoli, and the local representative of Buenos Aires, Maria Madalena Teso.
   Knowing that the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Adolfo Breez Iskill, and one of the leaders of May Square, Ms. Nora Cortins, had previously joined.
