Speaker of Bosnian House of Representatives : Bosnia is seeking to develop bilateral relations with Palestine

      Dr. Mahmoud al-Habash Chief Justice of Palestine President’s Advisor for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations met today, in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, both the Chairman of the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina Shafiq Javiroich and Chairman of the House of Peoples Safet Sovette, within a series of meetings conducted with officials, scholars and intellectuals during his current visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina .
Habash spoke during the meeting about the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people since 1948 Nakba passing by the setback of 1967 to the present day and the injustice done to the palestinian people because of this brutal occupation on their land, confiscating their right to live in dignity and plunder their wealth and waters.
And about the city of Jerusalem and what is going there, Habash said that Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed daily to violations and incursions by extremists and settlers, with the support of the soldiers and police of the Israeli occupation. While preventing Palestinians by the Israeli authorities access to their city and pray in the mosque and Rabat in it, stressing that freedom of worship is a right guaranteed in all international charters and norms.
For his part, House of Representatives Speaker Bosnian Shafiq Javirotah welcomed the Chief Justice and his accompanying delegation, stressing that Bosnia is seeking to develop bilateral relations with the State of Palestine, and strongly supports the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital and the right of Palestinians in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the freedom of worship in it without any hindrance, adding that Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the Arab peace initiative that preserve the rights of the Palestinian people stipulated by UN Security Council resolutions that support the stability and peace in the region.
The meeting was also attended by Palestine’s ambassador to Bosnia Rizk Alnamorah, general manager of Habash’s Office in Presidential Office Khalid Baroud, and Judge Mohamed Hammad of Palestine Embassy in Sarajevo.
