Security Council will discuss the Palestinian issue on Wednesday

    UN Security Council will hold a session next Wednesday on the Palestinian issue, where the Council will listens to a briefing by the Secretariat on the situation there.
   The Council discusses the Palestinian issue once a month, and other open periodically every three months.
    The observer for Palestine Ambassador Riyad Mansour finally sent a message to the President of the Security Council, complaining of Israeli settlement expansion in the occupied Palestinian territories, and its impact on the two-state solution and lasting peace.
