Tunisian Parliament Condemns Occupation Crimes in Gaza and Calls for Urgent International Action

The Tunisian House of Representatives, in a general session held today, Tuesday, chaired by Mr. Ibrahim Bouderbala, strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in hundreds of martyrs and injured, most of whom are children, women, and the elderly.

In an official statement, the parliament described these attacks as "brutal and treacherous," considering them an act of genocide that flagrantly violates international laws and conventions, and affirmed that they are part of a systematic policy by the "Zionist entity" against the defenseless Palestinian people.

The Tunisian parliament called on all national parliaments and regional and international organizations to condemn these assaults, hold the perpetrators accountable, work urgently to stop the aggression, and deliver humanitarian and medical aid to the Gaza Strip.

The parliament also renewed its full support for the Palestinian people's struggle and their right to self-determination and the restoration of their legitimate national rights, appealing to all the living forces in the world to stand by the Palestinian cause and defend it.
