Vice President of the League, Hasan Turan: The Aggression on Gaza is a Stain on History

The President of the Turkish-Palestinian Parliamentary Friendship Group and Vice President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, MP Hasan Turan, stated that the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the massacres committed against civilians are a stain on the pages of history.

In a tweet, Turan emphasized that anyone who supports Israel is complicit in its crimes against the Palestinian people, adding, "Those who remain silent about the crimes against humanity being committed in Gaza also bear the burden of this injustice."

He further stated, "Just as the Pharaohs, Nimrods, and tyrants throughout history have perished, those who rule with oppression will face the same fate." Turan called on the international community to act to stop these crimes and hold the occupation accountable.

The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine had earlier condemned in the strongest terms the brutal Israeli aggression that targeted the Gaza Strip at dawn today, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of innocent civilians, including children and women, in a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement reached last January.

The League affirmed that the occupation once again proves its rejection of any political settlement, opting instead for bloody solutions that only deepen the crisis and exacerbate instability in the region and the world.
