Abbas Zaki, a member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine and a member of the Palestinian National Council, stated that American promises and Israeli plans to annex the West Bank and eliminate the existence of the Palestinian people are illegal and false, and they will be broken by the resilience of the Palestinian people.

Zaki emphasized that the Palestinian people have inspired the world with their steadfastness, struggle, and attachment to their land, asserting his confidence that the just Palestinian cause and its resilient people will not accept surrender and will fight until they achieve their freedom.

He pointed out that the resilience of the Gaza Strip in the face of the genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli killing machine, supported by the U.S. and internationally, serves as evidence of the Palestinian people's attachment to their land, contradicting all claims about their abandonment of it.

He added that the continued occupation's acts of genocide and violations of the rights of the Palestinian people have ignited anger around the world and increased its international isolation, noting that the Palestinian struggle has become a symbol of resistance to injustice everywhere.
