The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on Palestinians in the West Bank to step up resistance against the occupation after five youths were martyred during a military operation in which Israeli special forces invaded the villages of Jenin and Ramallah.

Palestinian medical sources said that three young men had been killed by the fire of the occupying forces in the Bedouin and Beit Annan villages area south-west of Ramallah, and two other Palestinians had been martyred in the village of Burqin, south of Jenin, during the campaign on Saturday night and at dawn Sunday.
