Bahar calls on unity government to attain PLC endorsement

Ahmad Bahar, First Deputy Speaker of Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), called on the consensus government to attain the endorsement of the PLC in accordance with the Palestinian Basic Law, the PLC internal regulations, Cairo Agreement 2011 and the Beach Agreement 2014.
During his Friday Khutbah (Sermon) after Friday prayer in Felistin Mosque in Gaza city, Bahar welcomed the Palestinian reconciliation and hailed the Egyptian role in achieving Palestinian national unity.
He affirmed that the PLC is a key constituent of the Palestinian political system as being independent from the Executive Authority, which achieves balance among authorities.
