The League's Delegation Discusses Parliamentary Efforts to Stop the Genocide in Gaza with Fattouh

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine held a meeting on Tuesday with the President of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, on the sidelines of the "Future of Palestine" conference organized by the Foreign Relations Committee and the Human Rights Committee of the Justice and Development Party in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

The delegation discussed with Fattouh the urgent item raised during the recent meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, which was presented by several countries to discuss the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing Israeli genocide against the region.

During the meeting, Fattouh expressed his rejection of the unjust decision issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury against the President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, Member of Parliament Mr, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar.

The League's delegation participated in the "Future of Palestine" conference, which included the League's President, Mr. Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, the Secretary-General of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and the Head of International Public Relations, Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltaji.

The delegation held meetings on the sidelines of the conference with parliamentary and political figures to discuss the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip and parliamentary actions in this context.
