The League meets with the Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian National Council

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine held a meeting on Tuesday with the Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian National Council, Mousa Hadid.

During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the League's participation in the 36th Conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union held in Algeria, the two sides discussed coordinating efforts in international forums to support the Palestinian cause.

The delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine presented during the meeting the League's movements and efforts to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip, and to prosecute the war criminals of the occupation in international courts.

The League emphasized its readiness and preparedness to work with all parliamentary and international bodies and organizations to serve the Palestinian cause in the parliamentary and legal aspects, as well as related topics.

A delegation from the League participated in the proceedings of the 36th Conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union held in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria on May 26-27, 2024.

The delegation, chaired by the Vice President of the League, Dr. Ahmed Kharshi, included the Secretary-General of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and the Head of the Relations Department in the League, Engineer Abdullah Al-Beltaji.
