The President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, met with the Secretary-General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, Mohammad Reza Majidi, on the sidelines of the 14th Conference of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly and the accompanying meetings in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Al-Ahmar thanked the Assembly for its supportive stance towards the rights of the Palestinian people and the "Baku Declaration," which emphasized the need to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.

The League President emphasized the importance of turning solidarity positions with the Palestinian cause into practical steps and the necessity of holding the occupation accountable for the crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people and for the trial of war criminals.

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds participated in the 14th Conference of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, including the President of the League and the Head of the Public Relations Department, Mr. Abdullah Al-Beltaji.
