LP4Q Participates in the 6th Session of the World Union of Muslim Scholars Meeting

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, president of the League, participated in the proceedings of the 6th session of the General Assembly of the World Union of Muslim Scholars in Doha. The session was held under the theme "Upholding Our Religion, Empowering Our Nation, and Supporting Our Holy Sites."

The conference was attended by hundreds of Muslim scholars and thinkers from around the world. During the opening session, they emphasized the importance of unity and working to support the resilience of the Palestinian people in the face of the brutal aggression they have been enduring for over three months.

The "Doha Declaration" to support the Palestinian people and Gaza Strip is expected to be launched during the conference, with the League contributing to its formulation and release.

The delegation from the Parliamentarians for Al-Quds League included the President of the League, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, the League's Director General, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and the Head of Public Relations Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltaji.

On the sidelines of the conference, the League's delegation held a meeting with Her Excellency Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Deputy Chairperson of the Qatari Shura Council, in the capital, Doha.

During the meeting, various topics related to parliamentary work were discussed, with a focus on parliamentary efforts aimed at ending the aggression and the Israeli genocide against the Gaza Strip.
