A delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by the League's President, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, met yesterday, Tuesday, with the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi.

The delegation discussed with the President of the Jordanian Parliament, the strengthening of parliamentary work in support of the Palestinian cause, in addition to activating the role of the Regional League for the Arab Mashreq within the League.

During the meeting, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar stressed that the visit aims to support the Hashemite guardianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, and to support the Jordanian parliamentary role in support of the Palestinian cause, expressing his hope to hold the Fifth League Conference in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Monday, on an official visit, headed by the League's president, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar.

In addition to Al-Ahmar, the League's delegation included the General Director of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, head of public relations in the league, Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltagy.
