A delegation from the Association of Parliamentarians for Al Quds met, Tuesday, with the Secretary-General of the Arab Parliamentary Union, Faiz al - Shouabkah, to discuss the League's membership in the Union and to coordinate efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.

The delegation consisted of the general director of the League, Dr. Mohammed Makram Balawi and head of the public relations in the league Mr. Abdullah El-Beltaji.

During the meeting, it was explained that the League membership in the Union had been approved in principle, noting that the adoption of the resolution would be discussed at the meeting of the Union Executive Office.

He stressed the importance of strengthening and coordinating parliamentary efforts between the Union and League in the interest of the Palestinian cause and of developing such cooperation to live up to the efforts and sacrifices of the Palestinian people.
